Setting up I Phone 4 as new?

Hi, I'm jsut wondering if you set up your I Phone 4 as "New" as opposed to restoring a back up do you lose your contacts or will they still be there?

Depends on whether you sync your contacts with your computer. If you do, then you will get your contacts back when you sync the iP4 with the machine. If not, then you will lose your contacts.

If you google it, it is possible to take your contacts, SMS and Application data from one iPhone and copy it to another one without having to do a full restore. That's my intention when I get the new phone.
