    UKIPT Dublin Sept 8-12th , Burlington Hotel , Ballsbridge .
    UKIPT Dublin 8th -12th September 2010. €250,000 GTD.
    This will be the official thread to deal with all things pertinant to the UKIPT Dublin leg, 8th-12th September 2010.

    The ME is a €500 + €60 4 day game, with a €250,000 guaranteed prize-pool with an EPT seat added free.

    A super satellite for the ME is being held on Wednesday, 8th of September.
    There are 25 seats guaranteed for this event

    The main side event is a €320 + €30 2 day game, starting Friday the 10th of September at 7pm.

    Side event 2 is a €220 + €30 2 day game, starting Saturday 11th of September at 7pm.

    Side event 3 is a €100 + €20 + €20 1 day charity event, starting Sunday at 3pm.
    As part of the UKIPT, PokerStars will be running the poker for the homeless charity event on the final day of the festival. With €20 per player going directly to the charity, the tournament organisors have also have kindly pledged 50% of all reg fees. PokerStars will be adding an EPT 7 London seat for the winner / charity, as well as putting serveral bounties on celebrity heads so the charity and players can benefit by knocking them out.

    Sunday will also see a €1,000 + €100 Heads-up tournament, confined to 16 players. Winner takes all.

    Tournament Director for the festival is Donal MacAonghusa..

    Donal MacAonghusa is widely regarded as Ireland's leading Tournament Director and expert on the rules and ethics of poker. A poker professional since 1990, Donal has gained vast experience travelling and playing across the globe. As a poacher turned gamekeeper he uses a player's perspective to organise, structure and rule tournaments in an innovative and fairminded way with players' needs always considered first.

    He will be ably assisted by JP Mccann and John Scanlon, and under the direction of Toby Stone the UKIPT tour manager.

    2. The purpose of the event : commercial.
    3. Date and Location of event:The Burlington Hotel,Ballsbridge,Dublin from the 8th to the 12th of September 2010.

    5. Any prerequisites: must sign up a membership form on the day.
    6. How can tickets be purchased & is there a maximum number; Max is 700. Tickets can be bought on-line at Pokerstars.com or by contacting The Eglinton casino ( www.theeglinton.com ). Tickets can also be won in the daily online sats on Pokerstars, or in the many live sats being held countrywide.
    7. Type of Tournament --NLHE
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups etc.--€500 Freezeout.
    9. Cost of registration----€60
    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund----100%

    Sorry guys

    Its seems I am to blame for causing some confusion :o , for the Super Satellite on the Wenesday before the M/E I had listed it on the website as having multiple rebuys before the break .... Its one rebuy and one add on only It has been corrected and you can see the correct structure here .

    We are anticipating 200 runners for the Super Satellite 25 seat guaranteed

    Between 13% and 15% of the field will be paid but I cant give you exact figures until registration closes . So if we were to get 600 runners you could expect between 80 and 90 to get paid
