Mens Hair Pomade

I have short/medium length hair, not very thick but I'm looking for a good pomade/gel/other to shape and hold a style. I don't like using Brylcream as it makes the hair look "gelled" if you know what I mean. I want a natural look as if there is no product in it, no shine/wet appearance. I have been using the VO5 Texturizing Gum which is ok, but it can become greasy after a while and looses its hold after a few hours.

Tips? and where to purchase also?

A pomade would be for a slick back look but it also has a shine, it sems you want a matte finish.

You only need a small amount to put in your hair so they last ages, way longer thank any supermarket gunk so price wise it works out the same but you get a better product thats easy to wash out.
