Had a look at this today, it's a wbmr-g125. It's only a router though, no modem.

Even better. I'd love to get one to use as a repeater

I picked this up, it is a modem and router. It is also €25. Seems great so far for the price! Straight to Nat 2 on my PS3!

Fcuking assistant told me there was no modem and I had made a special trip to look at it. Is it working with Eircom broadband?
How do these gob****es keep their jobs. I had just been in PC World next door looking for a Sansa Clip+, MP 3 player to be told they had none. I was just about to leave when another assistant opened a locked cabinet under the display and there was two of them in it. Any wonder the retail sector is in s*it order.

Yep, got it working with Eircom! I got it in Swords and there was a lot of them there with a sign saying €29.99 but when I went to the till it said €24.98.

Wow, way to tar us all with the same brush. Calm down, they've just renovated PC World there it's gonna be a while before they get used to everything.

We retail workers are only human, people should respect this a bit more.

From where do you infer that I'm tarring all retail workers with the same brush? I referred to two specific incidents.
I don't know what the general consensus is but if I ask a specific question of a sales assistant employed in a specific department, I expect that sales assistant to be able to answer it; otherwise what are they doing there?
I'm quite prepared to accept that the sales assistant may not know everything about everything but if they don't know then they should say so, or try to find out, not just issue a blanket no.
In the case of PC World, if the assistant had taken the trouble to consult a PC screen not three feet away, as the second guy did, he would have seen those two MP3 players showing as in stock. Now if you were his employer, would you consider him an asset to your company?
