Keeping the energy levels up in a round?

This might seem like a weird question but more often than not, I find myself lacking energy come the last couple of holes on the course.

When I get to the 14th or so I can feel myself getting a little deflated and concentration just goes.. especially when it's a round with nothing but hold ups. I'm generally talking about morning rounds.

I mean apart from stuffing the bag with bananas and chocolate, whats good for keeping the energy levels up before you even walk onto the course? You hear alot about certain foods are great for concentration levels and so on.. does anyone here think about this before they play?

I suppose a bowel of coco pops and a nutri-grain isnt the best thing to be going out on. :o
