where are all the jazz venues gone ?

    I used to go to several different venues around the city but haven't been out in a while.
    So last week we went to go to "le basement" or "le circ" in dame lane and it's now a punk/rock venue , and the bleu note went from jazz to chinese sports bar to sort of jazz to nothing.
    Is JJ smiths the only place to get a decent bit a jazz on a night out ? Is there anywhere else to go ? i cant find much online.
