    Hey,

I am looking to buy a digital recorder and looking for some advice, done some research and the "Zoom H2" seems to have a lot of good reviews.

I would mainly using it for recording interviews, outside recordings and demo's

    any suggestions?

    nice 1

I can't opine on the Zoom but can offer that this puppy:

has travelled all over the place with me in the last few years and outside of the display being a little dim in low light I've loved the quality and everything else about it.

My Son uses a Boss Micro BR for his home recording, he swears by it. Really cool piece of kit and looks snazzy as well.

A more affordable option might be the Tascam here: http://www.thomann.de/ie/tascam_dr_07.htm?sid=24fdd51028d9f031c6e9df71602923db

We use it for just the purposes you mentioned at the radio station I work at. We compared it with the Zoom H4 and H2 and it came out on top. Lovely warm sound. If you can afford to spend some money the best I've used (and seen reviewed) is the Marantz PD621. A beauty when combined with a Beyerdynamic mic (although the built in mics are pretty sweet too).
