spink/swan diversion

    Does any1 know what's goin on? The diversion is crazy long and narrow.
    Any1 know when the roadworks are finished?

    It said in the nationalist it would be finished by now? They have found a rare weed under the bridge which collasped, this is/was holding up work while the envoiramentalists are looking at it, but seeminly work is underway again.

    Are you taking the diversion as signposted? If you drive past diversions signs and take the road on you left coming from abbeyleix, its literally the last road before you see the roadworks, it will cut out about half your drive, brings you around back in a circle to the main carlow road again, think the exit is actually the same as if you follow the first diversion.

    Think they are using the first diversion as its all signposted, whereas the second road isnt,even tho the second one is shorter. If you are unsure of the area, follow the first one, as its a hugh area up there to get lost in:D Hope this helps.
