I'm planning on buying this tomorrow and I was wondering if anybody here would like to throw in their 2 pence as to whether it's a good choice.

I want a compact tripod that I can carry around with me easily. Just using a Canon 500D with kit lens at the moment so weight is not a problem.

Low light situations are why I need a tripod and after reading reviews this seems like an OK compromise between price and quality.

I can't help but feel it's a very lazy question but I don't know what else to add.

I don't know that particular model but if it's anything like the 500DX which I have, then it's a good one. Mine is not exactly walk around but I manage.

    I have that tripod.

I find it fine, not excellent but fine.

It could be a bit heavier, for stability.

It could be a bit taller. I am just under 6 ft tall and it's a little short for me.

Over all for what you are saying you want it for it should do the trick.

I am not wild about the price there though.
