Hello, does anyone know if there is a web site that will allow you to find out if you have points on you licence, and how many? I think I may have points on my licence but I was never notified so I just want to find out. (how did that happen – I was driving someone else’s car – they got the notice in the post and I filled…

You get a letter telling you the date they go on your license.

How do I find out how many penalty points I have on my driving licence?

The Road Safety Authority operates the National Vehicle and Driver File which holds driving licence records. To find out how many penalty points are on your driving licence record, contact the Road Safety Authority at 1890 41 61 41 and quote your driving licence number.
