i9000 Galaxy S Firmware upgrade with vodafone?

    Hi all,

    Just wondering if any of you who bought the i9000 with Vodafone have been able to upgrade to JM1 or newer through Kies?
    There was a thread on xda-developers a few days back about UK firmware being released (JM1) here

    I checked my Kies Sunday, and was told that I was on the latest version.
    A few days later I cehck again and how I get this error: "This device's version cannot be updated."

    I'm running the following stock (unbranded from what I can tell) firmware:

    PDA: I9000XWJFB
    PHONE: I9000XXJF5
    CSC: I9000XXJF5

    I haven't checked any firmware updates or Android updates yet since I bought mine, probably wait til Froyo is officially out and upgrade the lot at the same time.

    What's different about the firmwares if anyone has that info? :)
