That is pretty cool, but the old one's still prettier. It's a shame they deleted the pop-up headlights.

Yep, old one is still better. Wheels look **** in comparison too.

Pretty sure they're illegal on new cars in the EU now. They make a nasty mess of pedestrians in a crash.

Eh ? ....and why are you standing in my way, anyway ? :D

Love the old one. Sat in one once, in the UK. Bloody tight fit. Love the new one.

Idea: an aftermarket pop-up light conversion kit, that'll do nicely.....

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

It's nice but it's essentially a kit car. The front of the car looks a little odd, kind of like a hammerhead shark. Finally Lancia seemingly had nothing to do with it, it's the brainchild of a dude who wanted a modern reincarnation of the Stratos, so it's not fair to call it a Stratos really.

And yeah- the old one is better looking.

You can actually get a Lancia Stratos kit car, with a Fiat straight-4 or Alfa V6, for about a quarter of the price and in RHD: Hawk HF series

    Like it!
Saw a strange kit car at a motor show recently that kinda looked like a stratos, but no doors - the whole upper section of the cabin seemed to raise hydraulically?

    Quite possibly a Sterling Nova?

I'd say it takes a very brave man to take an angle grinder to a Ferrari in order to build a kit car and whilst the result is nice (in fact I think I've wet my pants) you've just build a Lancia out of a Ferrari.
I can olny admire the guy who was brave, foolish and rich enough to say "I've got a Ferrari and an angle grinder, hang on, I've got an idea!"
The world needs more people like him.
