Reccomend a media player

I have decided its about time I purchased one.

I want something with approx 1TB of built in storage, and for it to play avi, mpeg and mkv files

I have been looking around on pixmania, komplett.

I have heard reads on nassau street do good deals on them. But do not know what make/models they have.

Can anyone reccomend something.

I know there are a lot of threads on the topic but none lately.

After a lot of looking - and I am still looking.

I have to decide between these 2 media players

Neither of those are particularly good in that they do not handle HD content and have limited connectivity. A step up, is http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=11389 if Lacie is your thing. Otherwise, Popcorn Hour, Xtreamer, Play!On etc. are what you need.

I got the LaCie LaCinema HD 1TB from pixmania this week. I had been using my XBOX for video but had a pain in the neck from converting HD files to play on it. Very pleased with the LaCie so far. MKV playback is great. Seems to play everything I have thrown at it so far...
