I must be doing something seriously wrong because I don't see an option to choose the cinema. When I enter the code it keeps playing the trailer for Salt on a loop.

biggest load a bull, heard people saying that was great on way out  an i thought are you crazy lol
id have left half way through only there was too many people to disturb so i didn't bother
ill most certainly be staying away from chick flicks for ever this was my first and last, even the GF thought the same about the film

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 811 ✭✭✭mal1

Poor Jennifer Aniston, how does she manage to get involved in so many bad movies? This was terrible. So long and drawn out. I couldn't wait to leave. Has she ever really moved away from the Rachel character in Friends??

Anyone numskull could predict what was going to happen in the first 5 minutes, the rest was just the pure agony of waiting for this tripe to end.

Have to agree with the above. Have you guys filled in the survey they send to your email regarding these films? The only way to let them know

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 134 ✭✭fulhamfan

After the great success of "Going the Distance" last week, this one was just woeful but had the ingredients to be a really good movie. Such a missed opportunity by the director. Avoid:)

I will fill out the survey tonight. It won't make pleasant reading:D

Missed 'Going the Distance' last week but saw the trailer and it looked half decent but then again this muck come have been half decent. Bateman isn't the worst and there was the odd small spark in the scenes with the kid and Jeff Goldblum.

Thanks again for the link for the tix, unfortunately the movie wasn't fab! Stuck up a not very favourable review, would be interested to know if anyone really liked it?

I'm afraid to say Yes so I'll just say it wasn't bad.
Yes it was predictable but so what, sometimes predictable films can still be enjoyable.

I totally agree it can still be enjoyable, just wish it had been a little sharper with the humour and a little less predictable. Glad you enjoyed it though, was an easy watch if not the most mind-blowing!

I though it was OK, not great, but Bateman was fairly good and so was Goldblum. However I though Aniston brought nothing to the movie, you could have exchanged her for any actress and it would have made no difference, unless to improve it.
The kid annoyed me, I hate hollywood movie kids, too knowing... after watching Outnumbered on BBC I have no patience for 'billy barry' kids acting... if you haven't seen Outnumbered, take a gander, the kids get basic premis of scene and basically improv it... so its believable for their age groups.
