Do you get a grant for each year of your course?

    ....or do you have to reapply at the start of each new year?

    yeah you gotta re apply each yr.. and you'll continue to get a grant once you meet all the conditions etc. if conditions change between one year and another, you could also be entitled to a top up meaning you might get more money that a previous yr.. it can also go the other way and it depends upon parents income, Dependant kids and savings etc....

    Depends on your previous courses etc, if u failed year 1 of another course you wont get the grant in the first year of the new one, but you will in second year.

    That was my case anyway. I also got the grant in 3rd + 4th year.

    I dropped into the VEC the other day, but left more confused!

    I did 2 PLCs before, but I left before Xmas both times

    Next course will be a Higher Cert / Degree in an IT
