    Hi there , bought a van last week and iv noticed the last two mornings , gets a bit hard to start first of all, then when i go to move off i go into first gear put my foot on the accelerator she doesnt rev up , accelerator goes almost dead .. So i start it again , give it a few revs and then into first gear and she goes grand, anyone know what the cause of this is???

    if you give a small bit more information what make , model ,year and in case it isnt apparant fuel

    Cheers Kasper 03 nissan primastar , 100k miles ...This just happened last couple of mornings ,accelerator dead when i go into first gear and picks up after turning engine on again and giving it a few revs..

    Would u think so ford , what causes the fuel injectors to go .. What cost would u be talking?

    By the way lads when the engine is left running it ticks over nicely , would it not be splutering a bit if it were fuel injectors,, Thanks for ur help..

    Shouldn't be if its the problem pricewise €60-€80 i'd guess.

    The mechanic should be able to tell straight away be doing a diagnostic
    test, it'll should tell what sensor is at fault. Hopefully its something simple.
