Running around ballybofey

    Will be staying up in Stranorlar (beside B) next week-anyone on here know a nice scenic 5/6 miler nearby? Tks

    There's the HM route from the Nationals a good few moons back, from memory it was approx 2x6 mile laps, if you started at Finn Valley, headed into the town, took a right and followed the backroads which bring you back into the far side of the town, cross the main street and then back in from the other side back to Finn Valley, a few testing hills on it, but good running.
    I'm sure someone can give a more detailed overview - I ran it about 13 yrs ago.

    go for Drumboe woods, there is a 2 mile trail through the forest and you can loop back on the laps. The road leads to the forest is just past the Church on the main road as you go over the bridge between Ballybofey and Stranorlar. See google maps!
