not sure if this is the correct forum but here goes!! my parents have the same entrance to their farm as the yard. it is about 1 mile long and was resurfaced about 10 years ago (holes filled and tarred over) in some areas the tar is coming off with wear and tear and rain. the only bit that is coming off is the tar and the filling underneath is ok for the time been (you can see the stone underneath - i think it i sa04). is there any way we can repair the tar bit only? my brother got some tar chippings off a neighbour who was doing their drive and he filled in whatever holes there was on the lane. I was thinking if i could get some tar - heat it up and then cover with chippings? any thoughts?
