A friend of mine got a gift of a 12 pack of fancy beers from around the world. Thought that was a good one!

I'll be giving the boys a hipflask each containing some rather expensive whiskey!... But then they're all big whiskey drinkers...

My OH's 3 brothers are his groomsmen, and they're all really into computers, so we got them Newbridge Silver USB stick keyrings. Hadn't a clue what else to get them, and at least they'll be used.

If the wedding is saturday 2 weeks in Dublin, get them the most expensive presents you can find :)

    ^^ ha ha :D

I think the fancy beers is a nice idea, if they are beer drinkers that is.

I hate the idea of cuff links too and other pieces of tacky jewellery that they will never wear. I seen a post on here sometime ago in where a guy was getting bottles of Jameson whiskey with their names and date printed on the label. I think i will do this also!

I would get nothing for them. Christ I can understand something small for the best man, but getting things for the Groomsmen is pushing a bit. Thank them individually in your speech.

I got mine watches from Newbridge silverware, the two boys loved them and wear them all the time, also theyre not hugely over budget!

I didnt even know it was done until i got into this whole wedding thing. My groomsmen are just happy to do it for me.
I probably will get them something small though, not gonna spend 100 bucks each or anything! Spending enough bloody money

My Best man was given a bottle of 1915 Gold medal JD. He gets to enjoy the whiskey and then have a fancy presentation bottle for the rest of his life...odds are he will chuck the bottle.

I bought myself one while I was at it and registered the bottle with JD the day before the wedding. When we got back from the honeymoon I had a cert in the post with the reg date being the date of our wedding :).

were getting the 3 lads golf stuff, personalised ball markers and tees (??!)and also a voucher for a round of golf each at a location they go to down the country every year and love.
They have been to loads of weddings and all of them have the cuff links, pens, hip flasks etc.
So ya, if they are into any hobbies maybe do that - someone suggested a jersey, might be a good idea, get their local club jersey screen printed with their names on the back or something!
