I know how to sync, but I've connected my ipod to computer via usb and nothing appears on itunes screen....whereas in the past I'd see the ipod icon appear and i could drag/drop files on itunes itself. I can't do this at them moment?

This happened to me once. Power it off, then plug it in. Hopefully it should recognise it then sync and charge.

Look on the left hand side where Music, Videos etc are on itunes. There should be one saying Your ipod. Click this and it should say sync on the screen.

Nokia phones won't register with itunes.

You need to take it out, hold the lock button and middle button for a couple of seconds to restore it then plug it back in again.

There is no "Sony iPod". iPod means the Apple device, specifically, it's not a generic term for "MP3 player". iTunes only supports Apple devices (iPod, iPhone, iPad), nothing else.

If you're using Windows, you may be able to sync your Sony using Windows Media Player.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
