Can any of the MMA competitors recommend a good ankle brace?
A brace now, not the elastic wrap rubbish.

Ankles of jelly struck again at the weekend.

    What happened to your ankle?.

Serious question as I'm 3 months into rehab'ing a grade III tear of my ATFL, CTL and Syndesmosis and have went through various braces, and now I'm using various strapping techniques to prevent inversion sprains again.

Just a sprain, but its constant at this stage after years of GAA.

Then its not "just a sprain".

My advice, honestly - is to have it checked professionally.

Something I've learned to my cost, after thinking I had "just a sprain" last November is that there is rarely such a thing as a simple ankle sprain.

There is lots of very good reading online re. ankle injuries - causes', type of sprains, rehab'ing & stabilizing etc..

Seriously, what you said mean's its no longer "just a sprain".
