Just talking to my ma the other day. She lived down the country and went to a boarding school ran by nuns. She told me how cruel they were and how they often literally starved her among other things.

I asked her if she now honestly thought that the nuns were enjoying being cruel to the children and she said some of them definitely did.

Any similar stories from people here or people you know?
