Hey all, I'm going to be selling a good on adverts.ie that I bought on the site there a few weeks ago.
The problem is that the old ad is still there and this will defintely be seen by any possible buyers. I feel it will be harder to sell it because the price and comments from a few weeks ago will be known. It will also seem suspicious that I would sell it again so quick when I've actually found out since then that I'm going to Asia.

Can these ads be deleted at request? I've tried to find the relevent moderators btw but gave up so came here..

    Thanks

You should ask on the adverts.ie help desk.

    Nope.

You can just mark your ad as sold.

    Here's more info:
    Deactivating ads
Please mark your ad as sold/withdrawn, once the item is sold or if you change your mind. You can do that by clicking on the "sold/withdraw" button, just below your ad's description.

    Removing ads
There is no option to delete your ads on Adverts.ie as we need to keep them for our own records. You will soon be able to archive them, but in the meantime, please refrain from deleting the content as it is against our rules. If you need help with your ad, please contact us at support@adverts.ie
