Guitarists seeks ....band/other intrumentalists in North Kildare/South Dublin

Genre: Alternative/folk, prog,
Location: Celbridge - Willing to travel, withing reasonable distance.
Influences: Mogwai, Redneck Manifesto, Bon Iver, Rachels, 3epkano (going in decreasing influence - basically if you're interested in instrumental music that's what I'm on about!).
Looking for: Like-minded people of solid playing ability (2 years solid practice under their belts) that can play piano, bass, guitar (acoustic/electric, whatever), violinist, etc (see if you match up to any members from the bands in the "Influences" part.
Age: I'm 19 myself, so anyone around my own age is cool but I'm hardly going to discriminate College going people would be good as I'm in college myself so our timetables wouldn't conflict to much then i suppose.
Samples: Nothing as of yet. Have to sort out a better quality way of recording my ideas.
Additional Info: People to write original pieces of music and covers aswell (pop and otherwise). I'd like to think myself as open-minded musically so don't be put off if you don't 'like' my influences or whatever, in fact more diverse tastes might even suit!

hey man,
i'm living in maynooth, looking for much the same thing, have played in an instrumental band before, have a half decent recording setup in my place and a place to practice with plenty of space and not too many people around to bother. have alot of stuff written myself that i've recorded and alot of others i haven't, find it much easier recording and composing with other musicians. have a pretty clear schedule aswell, only working 3 days a week. i haven't any samples up online yet but i intend on getting some up soon. i play guitar mostly, but can play pretty basic drums and keys aswell, have plenty of equipment including a p.a. and own transport aswell.

To anyone else interested I'll try getting a few basic samples up as soon as possible so you can get an idea at least of what sound I'd like to go for. Then again not going for anything specific and only that.
