Iphone 4 without sim

    If the sim card is removed, in the settings menu where it displays the phone info, is the carrier info from the last sim inserted still displayed? Or does it display nothing? Reason I'm asking is that I'm trying to identify if the phone is actually sim free. Does anybody with an iPhone 4 wanna test this out?

    It's like iPad. It says ' no SIM'.

    Stupid question, but would you not just throw a few different operators sim cards into the phone? i.e. Meteor?
