    From what i can remember it has happened one or two times in recent times. But it is the exception rather than the norm.

    MY hubby got married in full blues I think they have done away with the tunic now though haven't they ??

    As for permission I'm not sure but I'm fairly certain that marrying the daughter of his Sgt I/C may have been a factor cos the local chief and super were invited :rolleyes:
