Only missed it twice in the past 20 years. Hotel booked last January. Ferries booked. Making a list and checking it twice.

It's on 11th and 12th September. Magnificent venue and has the added attraction of a motor museum on the site. Would recommend it to any vintage enthusiasts. Fly to Southampton or Ryanair fly to small airport nearby , can't think of name right now.:D:D yeah have it Bournemouth...

The only problem I find with Beaulieu is that it is possible to empty the entire contents of your bank account at it!
    Something for everybody there.

I was lucky enough to go last year,
what a fantastic day walking around all the stalls,
    I was knackered for 2 days afterwards:D
Will try to go again this year:)

The problem with flying is that you can't buy & bring back very much. Easier on the wallet :). Any suggestions for accomodation nearby.

Easy enough to get accomodation in Southampton at this stage. We stayed in a place called The Penny Farthing in Lyndhurst which is a beautiful village close to Beaulieu. There are quite a few guest houses in that area and it is near the New Forest area (beautiful countryside) Would need to be booking now though.;)

You will still find accommodation at www.premierinn.co.uk

We always stay in Christchurch east but that's long booked out.

Just booked a cheap Kerry-Luton flight. Was hoping to drive but can't get hols. Plan is to hire a car, Beaulieu on Sat then up to the JAE (Japanese Auto Extravaganza) show on Sun & home Sunday night. Went to JAE a few years ago. Plenty of cars for JAP nuts & plenty of MK1 MR2:):). Not too many classics the last time I went.
