    Hi there,

Hopefully someone can help me out on this one... Are the Financial Regulator and The Central Bank public or private entities? I've been looking at their website and searching on the CRO's website, but I still can't get a definite answer.

    Thanks!

Public. Their powers and functions are set down by legislation.
