lump on springer

    lads iv noticed one of my springers has a lump on her stomach. its like half of a golf ball and its around where umbilocal cord should have been. kinda worried because its a little bit big. any idea's what it might be......

    Might be an umbilical hernia. Can you push contents of lump (with finger) back into abdomen or is it hard and will not go back into abdomen?

    ya you can push it back in, she will be off to the vets this week to get it checked out.

    Yip most likely a hernia, surgery will sort it out.

    Mine had the same thing a good while back...it was a hernia....
    80 quid and it was sorted... I think he needed 4 weeks rest with 2 weeks wearing the lamp shade...

    yap comfirmed it today, its a hernia alright. operation now next,dont think she will get on with this lamp shade as she is wired to the moon
