www.atdhe.net is also good for bball/sports, not the greatest quality but I've found the streams to be reliable.

I watched most of USA vs Lithuania last night, the USA guards were very good defensively, pressuring and getting in the passing lanes for steals and deflections.
But the USA looked a bit slow on rotations and with communication inside, they got beaten by the pick and roll a few times and if a team has a couple of quality big men inside the USA might have problems.

USA vs Spain in a friendly tomorrow (Sunday evening) I think, should be a better test.

traveling was terible from the USA team. I think they got a bit of luck after the 2nd half to many missed 3 pointers from Lithuania and the coach was testing stupid players that should be gone by now. Afterall it was only a friendly. Spain vs. USA no doubt that spain will win. Any link of this match as i cant get one.

It was only a friendly but I'm still worried about our chances in the World championship. Rondo, Westbrook and Rose are all amazing players, but many of them have duplicate skill sets and many of them are poor outside shooters which is the main reason why the 2004 USA team lost.


Plus, our team is very young and these guys haven't played together, or played international basketball.

we all have excusies LT never had all its NBA players play for the International team. And USA always have their NBA players to play for them. And its all african americans playing for america so really its not evenn pure american team,

You're misinformed or don't have a clue what you're on about re: Lithuania. Top players Sarunas Marciulionis and Arvydas Sabonis both played for the Lithuanian national team in the 1990s including two Olympic bronze medals. They were the only Lithuanian players in the NBA in the mid 90s. Lithuania despite it's tradition in the sport hasn't had many NBA players as they have tended to play in the European leagues instead.

The USA hasn't always had NBA players available for the World Championships. Not until the 90s and even then in most instances it's always young developing players and at best in a couple instances only a few of the established veterans or all stars. None of the players on this USA Worlds team was on the Gold Medal team from Beijing. I'd like to see World Cup champions Spain attempt to pull that off at Euro 2012.

Well LT never had Ilgauskas play for the national team which was cruasal specialy in the last word championship as they didnt have a good centre. Same this year in Eurobasket at least they got rid of the 2 worst players last sunday as they wore terible and everyone wanted them out long at the very start. I recon that Spain might bag Euro Baskett in 2011 too but you'll never know.
