Im looking to buy a jeep/suv. I dont want anything over 2 litres due to the tax. I have about 3-4k to spend but am having a problem finding a suitable jeep.

    Anyone have any ideas?

What does it need to be suitable for?

you need to stop thinking about the tax, its a jeep , a 2.0 diesel wont be worth a w*nk in terms of power, a 2.0 petrol will drink fuel and have no torque, both will be expensive to run

if you open your tax fobia up to 2.5 litre theres a lot more jeeps , a lot of which are nice to drive and alright on fuel, people need to stop caring about the f*ckin tax bracket, a 2.0 or smaller engine is too small for a decent 4x4 and will cost you more in fuel than the increase in tax.

So important that I've quoted you!

    go for a subaru estate

4x4 reliable and plenty in budget.

The likes of this should do everything want including towing.

    one word:

    Suzuki

    1.3 or 1.6 petrol; 2.0 diesel

Short of hauling a mini digger they'll do everything any other 4x4 will, sometimes better
