Theres not enough information in your question to answer properly , but it works fine as long as a plumber with good knowledge of underfloor heating sets it up correctly with all zoning and controls done correctly .

The only people i have heard complain about oil and underfloor are those whose system was set up wrong day one with a lack of good controls and zoning , and those with massive square footage complaining about oil bills and wondering why they need so much oil!!

I have said this in every post about underfloor and will say it again , if your getting underfloor make sure your house is insulated to the maximum and is as airtight as you can get it .

Underfloor is all about getting a nice ambient temp and maintaining it , this is hard to do with crap insulation and draughts all over the house .
