How can it be fix without taking it to some one or is it best to bring it to someone

It could be any number of problems from a simple wire disconnection to a problem with the switch in the tank.

If your not confident at diagnosing things like this, take it to your local mechanic. I cant imagine it would cost all that much to put right.

seems to me if the gauge light is on, the wiring is OK and the float stuck at the bottom of the tank. Whether you can fix it depends on where the tank is (under the back seat I think) and if you can get to the sender unit. TBH a mechanic with a lift would do the job much quicker than you could grovelling under the car.I dont think it would cost a lot.

try a drive up a bumpy road...might dislodge it!
