I'm writing this thread in responce to the recent decrease in wwe ppv buys. After a far from Insiring card announced i'm just wondering how many are willing to pay to see it.I'm not going to I would if they tried harder to put a stacked card together for one of wwe's biggest events in the year.

Yes, I'm looking forward to see what happens with the Nexus vs Team WWE match. And of course the return of the Deadman

As wrestling goes, the nexus/wwe team match could be a clusterfeck and the only interesting point will be the outcome, and who turns/who's the leader etc.

It's not enough for me to buy it to be honest.

I thought I read survivor series is gone? would explain putting this big 7 on 7 match at summerslam anyway.

I only ever pay for Wrestlemania, and even then its usually to see whatever match HBK is in!

You're the only guy here that's buying it, so, everyone round to your gaff tomorrow night then yeah?!

SS is gone but I'd say he meant the Big 3. SS only went from schedule recently TBF.

Make it to Donegal and you're all welcome as long as you bring booze.

Survivor Series is back on the schedule as of a while ago.

Only one guy should order it from every province & invite everyone else over to his, then Vince's excuse of people coming together into a group like Amish Farmers to watch WWE PPV's might have a bit of truth in it.All messing aside though found a €20 note today & I still don't see that as a sign to get this event & i've bought every ppv on Box Office this year.

The main-event build up has been great so i'm interested in seeing it but i won't be ordering the PPV. I'll catch it Mon or Tue instead. I enjoy wrestling much more that way!

This is it. The WWE has all but run out of "special" things to put in front of us. the Michaels/Taker matches might be the biggest PPV buyrate draws of the current era.

I was asking on the other thread on the PPV buys does it matter how many Sky Box Office PPVs they sell or not? Surely even selling a thousand is 1,000 more £15/€22 than they'd get if it was just on Sky Sports "for free" - NB. it ain't free as you've to pay for/subscribe to Sky Sports obviously.

I think they would do a lot more business in Ireland/UK if it was on at a decent hour over here, which obviously ain't possible. It would be great if they did an overseas ppv and it started at 9pm our time or something.

If people are gonna pay for it, then record it, they may aswell download it instead.

Today is only the 62nd day of his suspension though

he is not suspended, he has been future endeavored. the 90 day thing is a no compete on tv clause (for another company), so wwe could bring him back/re-hire him if they wanted!

Yeah but it was the E who suspended him, I am sure they can bring him back whenever they want. :D
The 90 days rule would only apply if he wanted to wrestle for some other company that have a TV deal.

Danielson was supposed to be at Mikey Whipwreck's promotion this weekend but he had "family business".

Dont know yet. I recently got my motorized dish up and running again and do remember getting a few wwe ppv feeds on 12.5w. I know its a more satellite question but I wonder if there are still available or are most of them feeds encripted. Anyone watch any recent WWE PPV this way?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

I'm sure they are encoded nowadays to avoid people stealing the feed.

Well i bought into a wrestling site which has HD streams , Tons of wrestling on demand ppv from last 20 years ALL dvds , and also ALL mma events and MMA Dvds plus you can download unlimited wrestling, using there sever so no RS or MU so will be watching it there on ps3 :D

  • Site Banned Posts: 26,456 ✭✭✭✭Nuri Sahin

    No, won't be buying it.

Might try to watch on stream. More likely I'll end up watching it on ninjavideo or iraqgoals in a few days as it's usually up on one if not both sites.

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 15,559 Mod ✭✭✭✭Furious-Red

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,391 ✭✭✭D2D

I doubt I'll be buying it now. I might stream it if I bother to stay up
