Just enquiring about student bus services from cavan to athlone college . The Buseireann service seems to be useless, does anyone know what other companies are operating the services and how much they charge?

Whartons used to operate one but it does not appear on their website.

From looking at Cavan County Council's excellent public transport page, Bus Eireann's service appears to be it.

Fair play to Cavan coco, that's not a bad page. The transport map might be a bit childish looking but it does the trick.

Indeed it is and could be a good model for other county councils to follow.
