Hmm this part of boards.ie seems very quiet, is there no experts in this headphones section at all?:)

Can't really recommend you something I've zero interest in (wireless headphones), they are all useless compared to wired ones at the moment. Good luck with your research.

Looking to buy a good pair of Wireless headphones as my tv is heard all over the house :D
I was wondering if anyone on here could reccomend a pair.

Im thinking of buying a Sennheiser RS170
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-RS-170-Wireless-Headphone/dp/B002TLT10I/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I see it says 'Closed Digital Wireless'
While the RS180 is 'Open Digital Wireless'
    Whats the difference?

I think closed earphones are sets that someone else can't hear any noise from, the sound is kept within the earphone, whereas, with an open set, someone else in the room maybe able to hear what you're listening too if the sound is loud enough. Hope that makes sense!

I have a pair of RS140s that I bought in HMV (they were cheaper at the time than Richersounds, which is a first!!) and they're ideal for what I need them for ie) listening late at night when the wife is alseep.

    Conor.

Got mine in Aldi for 30eur. They're quite sturdy, recharge does not take long, ear padding in comfortable, sound is decent.

    Thanks for that guys
Yes the way you explained it , it is very easy to understand thanks for that.
Im glad to hear someone saying the RS is a good earphone, the newer models are very expensive, but i suppose if one wasnt happy with the performance they could always return them.
