    A boxing ring is being flown to the top of our highest peak Carrauntuohill today, in the name of charity.

    It is to raise funds to send a brother and sister from Co. Kerry - aged just five and two - to America so they can participate in a medical trial on a rare condition both suffer from called Battens Disease.

    The rare brain illness means neither child is likely to live past the age of 10 unless a breakthrough cure is found.

    Sounds expensive to fly a boxing ring and host a fight. How much do they need?

    We need over 700K, and it was quite cheap to fly the ring to the top as we got one chopper sponsored, but this is an awareness campaign and we can raise E50000 if we get 50000 on our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/group.php?gid=373723737426

    I have one daughter dying from this disease and I don't want to lose my son from it , so the fight continues, whether that is on a mountain or elsewhere!
