Slow PC and no Internet Connection

Hi My friends PC as slowed right down and will not connect to the net through either a USB or Ethernet connection. I ran Malwarebyes and found 17 threaths and fixed them and ran Smitfraud and it seemed to go through no problem, but still no net connection. Our last resort is Hijackthis which I ran but it wont create a log…
