Most farmers on this forum will be getting a single payment. But everyone will be gettig different amounts depending on how intensively they were farming during the base years. Some land wasn't being farmed during the base years and receives nothing.

So its impossible to tell you how much per acre is paid. Everyone receives a different amount

I'd say a bit more introduction and more context for the question would meet with better replies...

That question is a bit like walking up to a stranger in the street, not introducing your self and asking them how much they earn... I can imagine some of their replies would be less repeatable

Actually it isn't like asking someone what they earn as a subsidy is a form of financial assistance which is paid along with an earning already being made, in the hope of making those goods more competitive and keeping an industry alive.

Any way I may have found my answer:

For example, a farm with 1000 hectares, earning one hundred extra euro per hectare will make 100,000 extra euro, while a 10 hectare farm will only make an extra 1000 euro depending on the crop.

    Hmmm......interesting

Thanks for that was not aware there even was a single payment and that is related to what you farmed.

Will look into that thanks :)

You say it isn't earned but paid along with earnings and then go on to talk about a 1000 hectare farm "earning" one hundered extra euro per hectare..

    It can't be both..

Why thank you....a farmer with a sense of humor!

The calculation actually comes from a farming journal!

So does anyone have any useful comments in relation to the question to add?

    Any help or advice??

Loving the old farmers and how they hate being questioned on their subsidies. :)

Think about 175 per ha across the country. That about 70 an acre but may be out a bit. Huge variation across even neighbouring farms. Think that 175 comes from journal in talks about cap reform but that opens a new kettle of fish and i NOT going there
