Brand name HD-Ready or off-brand full HD?

Hey, I'm currently in the market for a 30(ish) inch TV.. I've been looking around and I've noticed that for the same money (around €300/350) I can get a brand name (Toshiba) HD ready TV, or an off-brand (Evotel???) full HD TV. (that's from Argos only, but i've seen the same prices in places like Soundstore, Harvey Normans etc. with different brand names)

    So my question is:

If given the option, would you go with the HD Ready from a brand name you've heard of or the full HD from a brand you haven't?

If it helps, the TV will be in a smallish room, hooked up to a freesat box and a PS3, which will be used for games and the occasional blu-ray...

    Have to agree.

The price might seem great when you go with an unknown brand but a known brand such as Samsung are Sony you're pretty much guaranteed reliability and quality.
