well the newspapers coverage was over the top but tv3's one was more sensation

the person has processed his time and its up to the authorities to look after when he is out not the media

I like to charlie brooker do a expose of of tv3, hyping a convicted prisoner and his crimes, they hyped up brian lenihan's cancer, hyping up GAA, tv3 hyping their banal tv channel

I agree with you. The media; particularly tabloids, are only worsening the situation. It is good that we are being kept informed of the matter concerning Murphys release and it's good that he's being tracked. However, the media are going too far. They will drive him over the edge and who knows what will happen, he is a very dangerous character.

There are pedophiles and rapists running amok in your own neighbourhoods as we speak, what are we going to do about them???? What about the two bishops who have been told not to resign by the pope this week. They were responsible for the sexual and physical abuse of thousands of children across Ireland, are we going to just sit and bat our eyelids??? I didn't see the crowds of people around them the way I saw of Murphy leaving prison. Disgraceful.

It is good that we all know of Larry Murphy and his heinous crimes, but there are lots of Larry Murphys' at large.

Electronic tagging and Megans Law are the way forward. I would even go so far as to suggest chemical castration. There are far too many psychopaths on the loose today, there is no slowing them down at this rate.

No-one lives more than 30m away from Rats.
There are Mosquitoes in Ireland and spiders that bite.

There are also people that steal, murder, assault people, push drugs or drive dangerously risking lives of passengers and other road users.

This is After Hours stuff. Not Broadcast Forum.
