    Hi,

Do you know of any where that does swimming lessons for adults in the evenings in Galway? I would prefer not to go to Salthill.

    Thanks

Not directly in Galway City, but the Escape leisure centre in the Claregalway Hotel does adult swimming lessons, too.

Are any experienced swimmers here willing to give lessons privately? I would like to take the classes at Kingfisher/Leisureland but they're all on Monday evening, which doesn't suit me. Can't find anything online or in the advertiser.

    Total beginner :)

    Hi

There are adult swim lessons in the kingfisher renmore on a wednesday evening at 7:30 its on for 6 weeks and each class lasts 45 mins and cost €68.00 for the course.
A new course is started wed the 15th of sept.
There are private swim lessons there too any day and time that suits you but are a bit more pricier but the instuctors will fit into your schedule if you need any more info let me Know:)

personally recommend Noel from the Radisson, quiet pool and good price. Nice leisure facilities as well. The like of the Kingfisher is much too busy for swim lessons and too many kids as well

does anyone know if Leisureland does swimming lesson and what to expect. I am terrified of the water - any specific teacher better than another. I need someone with patience.

I did some in the Carlton on the Dublin road back when it was Day's Hotel. Don't know if it's the same now, but the pool was generally nice and quiet there and it's a nice place. The lessons were given midweek and were group, but I think there was private ones available too.
