Insane Swedish women play in the traffic

Ok this is quite simply one of the weirdest stories I've seen in a while (okay its two years old but just saw in now). Watch the video here:

Motorway police have had to deal with two women spotted walking down the central reservation of the M6.
The women, twin sisters from Sweden, ran in front of oncoming traffic after wrestling with the police.
Both women have since recovered.
Sophie Hutchinson reports.

The story is just mental. Apparently she killed a bloke previous to running onto the highway, and after her first court appearance she jumped off a bridge onto the highway trying to commit suicide. she just ended up breaking her two ankles...

Craziest story I've seen in a long time.

Woman jailed for UK stabbing

A mother who stabbed to death a man she had just befriended was jailed for five years today, a UK court official said.

Sabina Eriksson, 41, who is originally from Sweden but had lived in County Cork for several years before the attack, killed Glenn Hollinshead, 54, after he had invited her to stay at his house in Stoke-on-Trent when she had nowhere to sleep.

The mother of two, who spent several years living in Mallow with her two young children, befriended Mr Hollinshead when he was walking home from a pub on 29 May 2008.She stayed at his house that night and the following evening stabbed him four times when he was apparently about to make a cup of tea.

Afterwards she made off with a hammer, with which witnesses saw her hitting herself on the head before she jumped 40ft from a bridge on to the A50

She punched a female police officer who tried to stop her running across the M6 near Keele services on 17 May 2008. The incident happened when Eriksson and her twin sister Ursula were travelling from Liverpool to London Victoria on a National Express coach, a day after leaving their home in Ireland.

When the coach stopped at Keele Services to change drivers they disembarked and ran on to the carriageway.

Eriksson was knocked into the air by a Volkswagen Polo car and lost consciousness for a few minutes.

When she came around, she got up to run across the carriageway again and when a police officer tried to stop her, she punched her.

Yeah, theres the full video as it was for BBCs traffic cops show, pritty unbelieveable :eek: , afaik the women were living in Cork for a while aswell!

There was a documentary about this on a few nights ago. One of the twins was insanse and because they were so close her insanities started to affect her sisters though pattern.

The daya after this the sister who didn't get run was released from the cop shop and stabbed a guy to death. It was decided that it was a momentary insanity and that she was perfectaly sane at the time of the trial.

I think she get's released next year and the sister who got run over is in the states.

After the girl stabbed the guy she was running down the road hitting herself on the head with a hammer, some guy driving past stopped to control her and she smacked him on the head with a roof tile. She then jumped off a bridge onto a motorway and survived.

Some women just aren't worth the hassle.:D

I saw that program, one of them lived in cork ,was married to an irishman with 2 kids.
She left suddenly to meet her twin sister in england.IT seemed like the both went mad suddenly and tried to commit suicide on the motorway.
The doctor who was interviewed said it was a temporary form of madness.
Like twins usually are,they were close ,it was as if the madness passed from one to the other.I think the killer got a 5 year prison sentence.
