    Sounds like a great place. I have a friend working there at the moment. And yes, I would love a trip there! I had a lecturer last year who spoke about the 'Stans a lot last year and now I really want to go!

    I'd love to visit that whole Central Asian region, but haven't you read about the recent ethnic killings going on in Kyrgyzstan? Not a safe place to be in at the moment, and the Taliban are unfortunately making inroads there too.

    There's a cool BBC documentary series up on Youtube called 'Meet the Stans'.. check it out.
