Anybody done any of those 'exotic sportscar days' in the UK?

Would love to head over for a day and do something from trackdays.co.uk, preferably something over a day that involves a Ferrari and Lambo etc ...

Just wondering if anyone from here has gone over and what they thought of it?

I've done the single seater half day in mondello and was really really unimpressed with it. It was just far to short of an experience. How does the UK compare?

Someone I know did a few of these courses. He highly rated them. Not only as a fun day out, but even more especially as a training tool.
He is a Porsche owner but drove their GT (free upgrade!)on the Precision Course. He's planning the Performance Course soon.

I plan on doing the Precision course soon enough myself. I dont own a Porsche but could do with the training.

I have to say I think they are priced quite reasonably given the content.

i did the single seater aswell (and the mazda3) and just when i thought i was getting somewhere i saw the chequered flag:(

i would do it again tomorrow given the chance, i doubt you would get a huge amount of time driving in the supercars tbh,

I did one in Prestwold hall near Nottingham.

I did 4 laps in each of:

    Ferrari 575

    Porsche 911 Carrera 2

    Aston Martin V8 Vantage

    Lamborghini Gallardo

I would definately recommend it, however it can be very pricey.. my girlfriend paid for mine as a present so it was excellent for me :D

Top tip: book it through the UK websites and pay in sterling, get the voucher emailed to you. It worked out about 80e cheaper this way even after exchange rates.
