Gonna keep a log of my selections, mostly english football and maybe the odd darts bet. Ill try and put up reasoning or thoughts for each selection and start with a pot of 100pts

    Bolton vs Fulham

Gonna go for bolton on this one. Petrov is a great signing for them and is going to play a major part of bolton's attacking play and set pieces, bringing him in on a free transfer is a great bit of business. His delivery into the box is pretty good and is going to suit the two big men up front.
Hodgson is the main reason Fulham did so well last season and is a big loss, although I think Hughes is a decent manager. Duff, schwarzer and Koncheskey all doubts and i can see this being a tough fixture for them especially when you look at there away form from last season ( one win against portsmouth.

    Selection: 5pts Bolton win @ 6/5

    Aston Villa vs West Ham

Collins and cuellar (who were a major factor in villa defensive performances last year) are both out for this and milner prob wont play so would imagine the team would line up something like

    Freiedel
    Young, Dunne, Davies, Warnock
    Young, Petrov, reo coker, Downing
    Carew, Agbonlahor

Doesnt look great at all for them, davies only played 180 mins in the league last year and think hes recovering from a knee injury at the min so I dont expect him to be near sharp enough. Young is also pretty weak defensively. Agbonlahor is also doubtful so if he doesnt play itll probably be carew and heskey/Delfouneso,leaving them a bit one dimensional up top.
Added to that the loss of Martin O Niell and the possibility taht young could be leaving soon too, morale may be a bit low.

Fully expect West ham to get something from this match and slightly relying on the new manager factor. Made some decent signings through the summer and When Cole was fit and in form last season he was awesome.

Selection: 5pts West ham double chance at 8/11

    Arsenal vs Blackpool

The result last week flattered blackpool a bit, ran rings round a poor, disorganised wigan team. Fabregas and van persie should be back today and Arsenal should win comfortably.

    Selection: Arsenal -1 @ 4/9

    Wigan vs Chelsea

Chelsea all the way for this one, should have too much quality and win by a few. Wigan lost 3 of their four starting defenders from last season so arent looking great.

    Selection: Chelsea -1 @ 8/11

    Everton vs Wolves

Everton won 10 of their last 11 home games last season and I can see them doing the same today, have been slow starters the past few seasons but have a pretty much full squad to choose from. Can see arteta scoring in this too

    Selection: Everton @ 4/9

    5 pts treble

    Birmingham vs Blackburn

Two battling teams with two decent results last weekend, Birmingham got two scrappy goals against ten men and I expect Blackburn to be a little more organised than Sunderland. cant see many goals in the birmingham team so Blackburn to edge this one (although they look a bit light up front themselves)

    Selection: 5pts Blackburn @ 12/5

    West Ham vs Bolton

Bad result last week for West Ham last week and looked poor all over the pitch, Bolton should be solid enough at the back and hopefully they can put away a chance ( which they struggled to do last week).

    Selection: 5pts Bolton @12/5

Been without the internet for a while but now that I have it back ill start up again. Not the greatest of starts so hopefully start to turn it around.
    Balance: 92pts (-8)

    Man City v Chelsea
Chelsea of to a flyer this season with 5 wins from 5 with malouda and Drogba in great form, scoring 21 and conceding just one along the way. City’s form reads 2w 2d 1l, scoring 6 and conceding 2. Mancini has them set up very defensively and I can’t see them trying to win the game today, more of a “don’t lose” mentality. Think Chelsea will have too much going forward, even without the injured Lampard.

    Selection: 5pts Chelsea win @ 6/5, 2pts Chelsea (-1.5) @ 14/5

    Arsenal v West Brom
Arssenal should have far too much for West Brom and I can see them scoring a few. West Brom are really poor away from home and it will just be a case of being outclassed

    Selection: 5 pts Arsenal (-1.5) @ 9/10

    Birmingham vs Wigan
Relying on Birmingham’s home record here, never seem to give many goals away at home and with Hleb and Zigic both in decent form in the Carling cup midweek hopefully they’ll manage to nick 1 or 2. Think Hleb will we key to going forward and seems like a fantastic signing, Rodallega seems to be playing on the wing of a 4-5-1 this season which is taking goals out of his game.

    Selection: 5pts Birmingham win@ 4/5

Three loses, not a good day at all, ah well onwards and upwards. Balance: 75pts (-25)

    Newcastle v Stoke

Newcastle have had 15 yellows in 5 games and include players like barton, smith, nolan, perch, coloccini and carroll. Should be a physical game with plenty of tackles flying in.

Selection: 10pts newcastle over 1.5 cards @ 5/6 (cant believe the odds)

Few for tonight, some good value here I think with some teams more or less qualified, lacking motivation, not fielding full teams etc so gone for a few of the underdogs

    FC Porto v Besiktas: Besiktas @ 13/2
    Dynamo Kiev v AZ: AZ @ 5/1
    POAK Salonika v Villareal: Villereal @ 10/11
Steaua Bucharest v FC Utrecht: FC Utrecht @ 13/5
Sampdoria v FC Metalist Kharkiv: FC Metalist Kharkiv @ 15/4
Getafe v VfB Stuttgart: VfB Stuttgart @ 3/1

    All at 1pt each
And a .1pt yankee on Besiktas, AZ, Metalist and Stuttgart @1.1pt
    So 7.1pt alltogether

    -3.1 for tonight,
one win, 2 draws and a loss. The two draws were the teams @ 13/2 and 15/4. Possibly should have went for double chance when picking teams with such high odds, bit of stupidity on my part :(
