New to this, but can you use DS games on a DSI XL Nintendo console?
I'm buying a gift for a nephew (aged 7) in Canada and was hoping someone might recommend a suitable game.
I'm also assuming there is no regional difference if i buy a game here and send it over...
    Any help appreciated

You can indeed and import games will work fine.

Great stuff. Thanks a mill for getting back so quick.
I was thinking 'Dispickable Me' as a game...

Never heard of it, just searched online, I would avoid a movie tie in like this...if you're looking for something for a young gamer I would recommend Kingdom Hearts
