See that these will go on sale in the UK in October. Anybody got any idea when they will go on sale in Ireland? Would like to take advantage of the new higher power lower emmissions 2.0l diesel if I was buying.

We're usually pretty slow with getting facelift versions of many cars in this country unfortunately, but usually it depends on how much stock the importer has of the pre facelift version. I imagine Ford Ireland wouldnt have massive stockpiles of the mondeo so you'd hope they'd have the facelift mondeo by February at the latest

Don't think I would get 3 Baby seats into the back of an IS220!

September 6, 2010 sees the start of the New Mondeo production with supplies arriving at Dealerships from mid to late October

1.8 diesel engine is dropped so all now come with the 2.0Tdci enigne, with 115ps, 140ps and 160ps outputs.

Keep the same model line up of Style, Zetec and Titanium. Pricing is less than the equivalent current models - between €445 - €895 depending on specification.

From the pictures it looks like fairly minor cosmetic changes on the outside and inside. Updated seat trims for the interior and changes to the exterior colours with some deleted and some added. Alloy wheel upgrades as well for all models.

€25,775 for a 4dr Style 115ps Diesel sounds pretty good to me. That model now has alloys, fogs, Bluetooth, body coloured bumpers and handles. If you can spec a leather steering wheel, not sure why you'd want to pay the extra €3,640 for 25ps and not a lot more extra's.
