Storage for footwear!

    Hi!
I've loads of pumps, boots and heels and at the minute they're on top of each other in several large storage boxes. When I take them out however they're crumpled etc! Looking for a way to store them, ideally where they're separate or at least not being crushed! Saw a shoe storage hanger in Heatons the other day but it was for pumps only. Anyone any suggestions? Or where I could go to get some proper shoe storage? Thanks!

I use shoe boxes from IKEA, they are designed for use in one of their wardrobe sets but I just stack them. Two pairs of pumps or one of boots fits

    What about this?

    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/8753751/Trail/searchtext%3ESHOE+STORAGE.htm

Ir have this one and it hangs in the wardrobe.

Boots go into a box in the bottom of the wardrobe though as they obviously don't fit into the shoe hanger.

My mother works in foot solutions and the boxs they sell their shoes in are really strong and sturdy.. I have about 20 boxs stacked in my wardrobe with my shoes in them and they open like a drawer so no having to take them out to get at the shoes. Maybe you could pop into a FS or any shoe shop for that matter? I love they way it tidys my wardrobe :D

i got something like this in heatons:

this is a better image to show how it works but the one i got was clear plastic:

it hangs off the bar in a wardrobe, its really handy. didnt think it would be strong enough but ive doubled up on shoes in most of the sections and its fine :) it was only about a fiver i think.

I've got one of those pockets that hangs on the inside of the wardrobe door, and it works quite well for flats shoes, but if you've got heels, they can get caught in the clothes as you open the door.

I store all my boots and 'good' shoes in their own boxes in the bottom of my wardrobe (under the bed is good, too!) as I find works best for protecting them. Most of the boxes are different, so I don't have a problem trying to remember which is which, but if there are some similar boxes I just write what shoes they are.

I know it can take up a lot of room, esp. you don't have a lot of room, but I really do find it's the best method of storing them so they won't get damamged.

I have 2 of these and find them brilliant. Got them delivered a year or so ago from the North, can't remember prices but I'm sure you'd find them online. Might be a bit big if you are putting them in a small wardrobe. I have mine in the spare room.
