    You want to get the eyes sharper most importantly IMO.

    It's one of those photos where it's not going blow anyone away but that any parent would possibly be quite happy... technical correctness not really that important either... it's slightly soft but in a good way.

    The white in the child's right eye is noticeably dark... and it doesn't look like shadow dark... not sure why.

    Maybe a reflector on the child's right to fill in some of those shadows and burn that white strip on the child's t-shirt so that it's not so bright.
